Paramount says it will take the Warner Bros merger to the Supreme Court if states block the deal

Paramount Skydance aims to finalize its $111 billion acquisition of Warner Bros Discovery by September. However, 12 state attorneys general and the WGA have filed lawsuits to block the deal on antitrust grounds. The WGA alleges the merger would reduce competition, lower writer pay, and limit opportunities. In response, lead trial counsel Jeffrey Kessler stated that Paramount is prepared to take the legal battle to the Supreme Court if states successfully block the merger.
