I'm Too Lazy to Write Alt Text, So Gemma Does It For Me

Two new tools were submitted for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge Week 3. The first is a VS Code extension that uses Gemma to automatically generate alt text for images, improving accessibility via manual triggers or a global shortcut. The second tool, Slothgram, streamlines social media updates for developers. It allows users to write one update and generate tailored versions for X, LinkedIn, DEV.to, and GitHub, reducing repetitive writing while maintaining manual approval for every post.
