Microsoft slashes Xbox Cloud Gaming to just 15 hours a month for Ultimate subscribers

Microsoft is implementing significant changes to Xbox Cloud Gaming, introducing a monthly limit of 15 hours for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers starting in November. Previously, all Game Pass plans offered unlimited cloud gaming access. The company is capping playtime due to rising operational costs and will charge users for any additional playtime beyond the 15-hour threshold. This shift occurs less than a year after expanding cloud services to Premium and Essential tiers.
