Recent workforce reductions at Xbox have severely impacted ZeniMax-led studios, with id Software losing approximately 50% of its staff and Obsidian Entertainment seeing a 25% decrease. Reports indicate 60-70 workers were let go at Obsidian across various departments. There is currently no communication regarding the redistribution of project workloads among remaining employees.
