Xiaomi unveils Xring O3 as it expands in-house chip push

Xiaomi has unveiled the Xring O3, its second in-house smartphone processor and flagship AI SoC. Manufactured by TSMC using a 3-nanometer process, the chip aims to reduce reliance on external suppliers. Founder Lei Jun revealed a hidden 60-micron OK hand gesture etched into the hardware, symbolizing that everything is OK. This launch follows the success of the Xring O1, which has already achieved over 1 million cumulative shipments across various Xiaomi devices.
