Your HomePod has a colorful new party trick: how to enable Sound Glow

Apple is introducing Sound Glow via HomePod Software 27.2, available for the second-generation HomePod, HomePod mini, and HomePod mini 2. This feature illuminates the speaker's touch surface with colors based on the current song's album artwork to enhance ambience. Users can enable Sound Glow through HomePod settings or the Apple TV Control Center if paired. Currently a release candidate for developers and beta testers, the update is expected to launch for all users next week.
